Amazon Kindle Dx Reviews & Tips


After the success of Kindle 2, Amazon.com back to innovate by launching a second generation Kindle.Kindle is a platform of software and hardware used for reading electronic books (e-book) that was developed by Amazon.com. Until now, Amazon has released three Kindle products, namely Kindle, Kindle 2 and Kindle DX.


With the release of Kindle DX, Amazon proves that the market for portable e-book reader devices is still big. With a feature to display the Newspaper, magazine, text book, and novel, make this tool becomes mandatory tool for people who love to travel and still want to read it anywhere.


Kindle DX comes with a larger screen than its predecessor, that is 9.7 inches (Kindle 2 have amounted to six-inch screen). Kindle DX is equipped with features Auto-Rotating Screen which can make the screen display changes in accordance with the direction you turn the screen, either in the form of portrait to landscape. Auto-Rotating Screen feature also can be found on Apple smart phones, iPhone.


Capacity provided to Kindle DX large enough, it comes with 4GB. The capacity of this magnitude can store approximately 3500 books. However, unfortunately Amazon doesn’t add a memory expansion slot for Kindle DX. Kindle DX has been accompanied by a rechargeable battery which when fully charged can last up to two weeks.


Kindle DX also equipped with 3G network which allows the user to access the Internet anywhere. Amazon also has added Native PDF feature. With these features, You can read all PDF document file

soon Kindle DX will face competition from News Corp. Plastic Logic, Sony and San Francisco Chronicle, These companies are planning to create an e-reader. Kindle also have to face the challenge from smart phones like the iPhone or Blackberry, which offers the same features and can access the websites of newspapers and magazines for free.
